The buses are open top which allows you to enjoy full 360 degree panoramic views as you travel along your route.

You have the choice of 24-, 48-, or 72-hour tickets, valid from first use, with which to make use of the many stops in the most beautiful, cultural and evocative city. The tour operates 365 days per year.

The buses are equipped with a personalised disposable audio-guide system in 8 different languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Japanese), providing recorded commentary throughout the tour.

There are 8 stops in all, servicing all the main tourist icons of Rome with departure frequencies between 10 and 20 minutes depending on season.

If you were to stay on the bus for the entire loop the scheduled time is 1.5-2 hours.

There is also free Wi-Fi aboard each bus.

The Rome Tourist Pass is aimed at first time visitors to Rome who want to visit the top tier attractions (Vatican Museums, St Peter’s Basilica, Colosseum and Roman Forum) within two days and still have time to experience the rest of Rome.

Included is a guided tour of St Peter’s Basilica, plus fast track entry tickets to the Colosseum and Roman Forum and the Vatican Museums with audio guides.

Since 2019 timeslot entries have been in place at the Colosseum in Rome. You are required to select your timeslot in advance. You will receive a confirmation email upon booking and and on your voucher you can read how to reserve your timeslot. Although you can do this at the Colosseum Ticket Office, it is sensible to do this online in advance because otherwise there is no way of securing your preferred date and time.
